VirtualVivarium LLC encourages new ways of providing care and veterinary medicine to laboratory animals, how that support is managed, and how the ethics of the care and use of laboratory animals is evolving (or not). I have been involved in at least one of those activities since I had a summer job cleaning rodent cages as a teenager long ago. The field has been good to me ever since, and I enjoy paying it forward by offering this platform to promote doing things better where possible.

Consequently, this website is forward looking. Anyone seeking established knowledge or conventional wisdom will be disappointed. And just as forward looking, I include topics from my list of unmet needs and novel possibilities in case someone else finds them interesting enough to investigate.
